Danny Farr
I live in Portchester – where I grew up – and know the village, plus surrounding areas such as Fareham and Gosport well. Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked as a retail manager for 24 years. This involved me training and developing people to become the best they could be and it is these skills that I bring to my new career as a driving instructor.
I have two amazing daughters called Maddie and Lola, who keep me busy! I love sports and to keep fit I play squash, with occasional games in the Hampshire League. My other love is football and I am a life-long fan of Manchester City – I’m not a glory hunter!
I’m calm, patient and friendly and will make you feel at ease behind the wheel. Hope to work with you soon.

Mark Parnel
I have lived in the Havant area all my life and have fantastic knowledge of the Havant and Waterlooville areas. I’m happily married and have two grown-up children and a lovely little granddaughter. In my spare time I enjoy tropical fishkeeping, watching movies and eating out with my wife and family. Other interests include walking, BBQs and family picnics in the summer.
I have great passion for my job as an ADI and get great pleasure from teaching and helping pupils of different ages achieve their goals and pass their driving test. I became an ADI in 2014. My prior role of 15 years was as a Mill Manager in a busy furniture company, which involved training and coaching adults to help them reach their goals and further their careers.
I’ve now transferred these skills to provide confident driving tuition with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Hope to see you on the road soon!

Greg Wise
I love all things vehicle-related and have even had a couple of flying lessons, which were a real eye-opener! I am hoping to do a few more over the next few years, but my real passion is driving.
I worked in the IT industry for 24 years, which gave me a great insight into technology and how it can be applied in the real world. I began training as an ADI at the beginning of 2017 and I’m looking forward to a long and successful career as a driving instructor. Driving-Pro have given me a great opportunity to achieve this!

Doug Drinkwater
I have been a driving instructor for over 24 years and in that time, I’ve taught hundreds of people, from all walks of life, who have gone on to pass their tests successfully. In addition to that, I also train others to become driving instructors, which has resulted in over 30 ADI`s through their exams.
As part of my own training I have passed four advanced driving tests. One of these is the ‘Cardington Grade A’, which is considered to be the hardest civilian driving test and only open to driving instructors.
My main goal in life is to teach people of all abilities to be safe and confident drivers; you never get bored of the thrill of hearing another student has passed!

Liam Greaney
For the last 39 years I have made my living from driving and teaching driving. As an instructor I welcome both difficult questions and pupils. I have some experience of teaching those who are deaf and without speech. If English is not your first language, I will try to learn some of yours. At the moment I have some Arabic, Bengali, Spanish and French. But please note that all driving tests will be in English.

Gav Kendall
My entire career has been focused on cars and vehicles. I worked in the motor trade for many years and have 12 years’ experience of driving artic lorries. Once you’ve manoeuvred one of those down a single track lane, every other driving task seems easy!
Over the last three years I’ve been teaching friends to drive. I really enjoyed it and was good at it too, so I decided to become an instructor full time. I got in touch with driving-pro and with their help and a lot of swotting up, I passed my exams and qualified as an instructor. I now look forward to meeting new people and helping them learn how to drive and be safe on the roads.

Nigel Thomas
I live in Portsmouth and have two children. I enjoy keeping in shape, which has become more challenging since hitting the big 5-0! I particularly enjoy martial arts and have been practising for more years than I care to remember!
I have an extensive background in teaching/training adults and hold numerous qualifications including PTLLS and City & Guilds in Communication and Conflict Management.
I became a driving instructor because I relished the thought of a new challenge and I’m passionate about helping people reach their full potential and acquire practical, life-changing skills. Passing your driving tests ticks both of those boxes!
The skills I have developed whilst teaching adults for the last 20 years have been invaluable in teaching my pupils to become safe and confident drivers for life. I hope to see you behind the wheel soon.
