Reversing Manoeuvres

RoadBoardImage

These maneuvers will be from these four. They should be done with good observation, under control and with reasonable accuracy.

A turn in the road (3 point turn)
Corner reverse
A bay park (reversing in)
A parallel park.

Control means moving the car slowly. This is clutch control in a manual car. If you are slow: like walking pace it will give you time to look and deal with things safely. Slow: and if it starts to go wrong you are able to correct yourself.

Reasonable accuracy means that you are putting the car where its meant to go. If you can’t do that you should not be driving taxis.
